How much time does it take to maintain an AI work system?

For individual tasks, the method develops along the way and quickly takes work off your plate; a whole system with many tools and scheduled tasks, by contrast, needs more maintenance than expected, and that can't be avoided, only limited. A reasonable target: at most 30 percent of working time, the remaining 70 for other things. In a team, this only works if maintenance doesn't depend on individuals.

In detail

Everyone who works with AI and their own vault has maintenance work on their system. That can't be avoided; how much time working with AI takes overall is covered under How much time does working with AI take?. So that maintenance doesn't depend on individuals, a team needs different roles and people with technical understanding who take on responsibility. That takes time, but it is the only way that promises success.

In practice

At times, Thomas J. Weiss put 80 percent of his working time into maintaining his tools. Since the summer, he has enlarged his team, introduced different roles and brought in people with more of a knack for technology to spread the maintenance.

So that I get from the 80 to 30, other people also have to be able to take on responsibility, in these teams.
