What exactly do you share in a team knowledge store?
Facts as of October 17, 2026
In detail
One example is a data dashboard, a web page that brings together data from several sources. What gets shared is not the dashboard but the way to it: how the sources are accessed, how they are cached, how the dashboard is structured. Your own vault remains the authoritative source. With this, others can build their own applications on the same data in a short time, with different views – or improve what there is to improve.
The team vault also serves as a bridge between the team members' AI instances. If one person's instance is supposed to cross-check another's results, prompts or methods, the first person puts it in the store and tells the other: it's there, have your AI check it. This needs no rules of its own and no automation; the rules of the team store apply.
In practice
Thomas J. Weiss has put the methods he uses to build data dashboards into a team store so that his team can rebuild similar applications. He has already used the store this way with colleagues, as a bridge for cross-checks.
